BERRILUB LX rolling mill greases
HFDU – Fire-resistant hydraulic fluids (HFDU).
BERRILUB-LX is a high-performance lubricant with an advanced formulation based on lithium complex soaps to offer high durability in severe applications and demanding operating conditions. It is a balanced grease for use in demanding environments, both in terms of humidity and temperature.
Properties:
- Very good resistance to temperature degradation.
- High anti-corrosive, antioxidant and anti-rust power.
- Excellent adhesion and lubricating capacity, ensuring protection and lubrication even in wet conditions.
- Stable against mechanical work and vibrations.
- Excellent pumping capacity, ideal for centralized lubrication systems or using a grease gun.
Long, flat products:
The choice of the appropriate grease for rolling depends on the type of product and the operating speed:
- Long products (bars, profiles, wire rod):
- Greases with low to medium viscosity base oil, providing fast flow, excellent heat transfer and minimal friction.
- The grease ensures homogeneous lubrication, preventing surface marks and residue buildup, even under high speeds and prolonged stress.
- Flat products (coils, sheets, plates):
- Greases with high viscosity base oil, guaranteeing maximum protection against wear, stability and durability.
- The grease maintains adhesion on the rollers and bearings, supporting high loads and prolonged deformations.
